What is Olaplex?

The Olaplex Treatment
Those bottles you see in the salon are Olaplex No. 3, the third part of the treatment, containing the least amount of the active ingredient bis-aminopropyl diglycol dimaleate. In English? This is the ingredient that repairs microscopic bonds, resulting in stronger, healthier hair!
Typically the first step in an Olaplex treatment is to apply Olaplex No. 1 Bond Multiplier, which contains the most amount of the active ingredient, either alone or mixed with hair dye. The second step is applying Olaplex No. 2 Bond Perfector, which is a combination of the active ingredient and various conditioning agents.
The Olaplex Mini Treatment
An Olaplex mini treatment consists only of the second step – applying Olaplex No. 2 to your hair during your service. What are the benefits of a mini treatment, and why would you want one over a full Olaplex treatment?
