When it comes to hair care, you regularly use your shampoo, apply your hair conditioner, visit your hairdresser once in a while (we hope!) and maybe leave it at that. However, your hair is fragile and needs more than your wash-and-style routine. Have you noticed split ends, weak, damaged hair, uncontrollable frizz taking over your hair? The answer to all your hair problems is a hair mask.

What Is a Hair Mask, and What Are its Benefits?

A hair mask is the best solution to repair your hair, nourish it, and make it look bright and healthy again. You can find different masks according to your hair type that will have different effects depending on what you are looking for. They contain hydrating ingredients such as oils and butters. Using a hair mask may add a little bit more time to your routine, but the benefits and effects you will get from are noticeable and well worth the time.

When you come to Salon Ziba, we want you to leave feeling happy and more than satisfied with the service we provide you. We don’t only to style your hair, but also to ensure its at its healthiest. Because of this, we offer you three different Kerastase Mask treatments at our salon, as well as providing you with a large range of Kerastase Masks to take home with you for later use.

At the Salon

At Salon Ziba, we can offer you three Kerastase Mask treatments: the Kerastase Fusio Dose, Kerastase Mask Application, and Kerastase Extentioniste treatment.

If you opt for one of them, you will experience a 3-step ritual lead by any of our expertly trained stylists.

First, we will gently massage your scalp with our Kerastase Bain to offer you a relaxing experience and gently prepare your hair for the following treatment. After that, we’ll apply to your hair the Kerastase Mask specially adapted to your needs. It is this step that will provide the repairing proteins for your hair and enhance its shine and strength. We finish the treatment by styling and finishing your hair while ensuring that the mask is fully penetrating your hair and providing you with the effect your desire.

Once you finish this treatment, the result is instant. You will feel like a new person, your hair will feel strong and healthy again!

At Home

By coming to our salon, you can get access to a wide range of Kerastase Masks to take home with you. Simply ask your stylist for a consultation, they will be able to choose for you the most suitable hair mask for you and your needs.

Are you too far away, but still want to benefit from our masks? Worry not, you can order them from our online store by clicking here.

How Do I Apply a Mask at Home?

Hop in the shower, shampoo your hair and rinse it thoroughly to open the cuticles in your hair. Then, squeeze out the excess water; you want your hair to still be damp but not wet, as this will dilute the mask instead of keeping it in place.

You can then skip the conditioner and apply first the Kerastase Bain associated the hair mask you chose, by gently massaging it into your scalp.

If you only bought the Kerastase Mask, you can scoop a quarter-sized ball of product, or more if you have long hair, then massage it into your lengths and ends, and try to avoid your roots, as they already have the necessary oils your need.

(Hot tip: Do you want to maximize the nourishing nature of your mask? Mix in a couple drops of Kerastase Original Oil for even more shine and healthier hair!)

Wait for 5 to 10 minutes, then rinse your hair again, making sure you are not leaving any product in it; you can then follow your hair routine as usual.
