Generalist: Asami

I have been going to Asami for a long time since moving to New York City almost 10 years ago!

Of course I would occasionally “cheat” on her due to my crazy schedule, but no one does it better than ASAMI! She is professional, kind and consistent. Anyone would be lucky to have her as a hair stylist. Did I mention that she is also an amazing coloring artist. Thank you, Asami.

I got haircut from Asami last month. I haven’t had haircut since the pandemic, so I need someone who really understand Asian-straight hair. My hair is thick, straight and a lot. Asami keep asking me how much short I want to cut and she kindly checking and asked every inch she cuts. Her technique is smart and gentle. If you want some decent haircut, I strongly recommend Asami.

Our entire family entrusts Asami with our hair; she is the best with both men and women. The cuts and color “age” very well. She listens very carefully to feedback about how the color and cut has held together since your last visit and gives excellent advice on ambitions you may have for your hair. We have been her clients for 20+ years.

Asami is one of just two stylists I trust with my hair.
